ULYSSES

Name: Ulysses
True Name: Lapacle Dione
Race: Lunarian/Unknown Alien Race
Height: 187cm

Lapacle Dione is a Lunarian of unknown origin. He resided in a town called Yugen on a planet called Aestallum, and is the local bona fide scholar. He primarily researched on the bio-history of Lunarians, but he also dabbled in other disciplines such as astrophysics, philosophy.During the Lunarian War, the enemy forces managed to invade Yugen and slaughtered the townsfolk. Bearing witness to the horror, Lapacle loosed himself into the fray, killing off the invaders until he is the only one left standing. Being already knee deep in his enemies' blood, and with no one left alive in Yugen, he brought his vengeance to the enemy lines, engaging in multiple battles across Aestallum until the end of the war, earning him the title 'Scourge of Aestallum'. Being one of the few surviving Lunarians, hopeless Lapacle sought for his death by throwing himself into a ravine, only to wake up centuries later, finding out that he was kept alive by a rare element native to Aestallum. From then on, he sets out on a journey in search for other surviving Lunarians, especially Yuzuki, or The Seneschal that he usually refers her to as.He is one of the older Lunarians, once boasting the color purple that symbolizes his ambition, creativity and dignity. But afterwards he eroded, to the darkest black, representing his descent into decadence, the paramount evil he represents and the despair he sows.

He is a tall and toned man with greyish-white hair styled in a spiky fashion. He has purple eyes, with tattoos inked above his cheeks and has a darker skin complexion, tanned overtime due to exposure to the sun. He usually wears a dark sleeveless shirt, a pair of white cargo pants with a black belt and wears black boots, topping it off with a long purple cape and several gold ornaments such as earrings, bangles, and necklaces. On occasion, he could be found wearing casual clothes ranging from sweaters and sweatpants to hoodies and shorts. And during rarer occasions, he would shift to his Lunarian form, and the only difference in appearance is a pair of black rabbit-like ears matching his hair in color sprouting from his head.

Lapacle Dione is a Lunarian that wasn't born, but created through unknown means. But that doesn't make him any less of a Lunarian, perhaps more than one.He spent most of his time travelling through the great expanse conducting his studies and research. However when he returned to Aestallum, the planet was already plagued by the Lunarian War.Though despite Yugen's best efforts to remain neutral, enemy forces came knocking on their doors, razing the streets as they slaughtered all. Witnessing the bloodcurdling horror, Lapacle's wrath was inevitably incurred, embracing his hatred and grit as he stepped into the fray, killing all the invaders. Once the town was nothing but a bloodied ghost town, he was the only survivor left, with nothing left to lose. Lapacle allowed himself to be consumed by war and ventured out towards other warzones, wiping off of armies and their weapons, eclipsing Aestallum with blood and cadaver. His brutal methods of killing the enemy eventually earned him the infamous title 'Scourge of Aestallum', one that haunted both ally and foe. It was then his faith in the Gods were lost, for they had never answered his prayers. When the war finally ended, so did his endless rampage across the planet, but now all that's left of him was a husk of his former self, filled with vengeance, shrouded in darkness and knowing naught but bloodlust. He lost himself to war for so long, that he became the war himself. He could not care less if he was feared just like a God, even when he himself had cursed them. With the remerging slither of conscience towards the horrors he committed, he dragged himself towards a ravine located deep in the mountainous terrain, and within the ravine was riddled with ores of raw Lunardium, an element that was fatal towards Lunarians, and without hesitation he tossed himself into the ravine, losing consciousness due to prolonged exposure. He was supposed to die that day.Several centuries later, Lapacle's slumber ended when he regained consciousness. Unaware of his predicament. His instincts led him to climb out of the ravine, and sat himself on the edge as he pieced back his memories, until he realized that all this time that the Lunardium had kept him alive. If a Lunarian is to be exposed to Lunardium, they will start to weaken, and prolonged exposure will eventually lead to death. But in Lapacle's case, his body had underwent a symbiotic union with the Lunardium. For a period of time there, he was considered dead, but the radiation kept seeping into his body, bringing him back to life. With this occurrence, he was given newfound powers, his physique reinforced and strengthened. Wary that now he is a walking Lunarian-killing beacon, he mastered the rate of radiation that was coming off from his body for the sake of keeping other Lunarians safe from the Lunardium whenever they were in his proximity. Although the element is exclusively fatal to Lunarians, they proved to be also toxic and fatal to a degree towards other races.Since then, he assumed the name Ulysses, and left Aestallum with a goal to search for other surviving Lunarians. But, he is no longer what he was prior to the Lunarian War, now bound to chaos and evil, and brandished by his insanity like no other, it will be no surprise that he would bear any ill intention for his future endeavors.

Abilities

Fortitude - The ability to maintain absolute fortitude of mind, body, and soul. If any would attempt to engage him in those, by his whim their psyche would be assailed by nauseating pain, and depending on the victim's mental fortitude, their fates may vary from incapacitation to death.

Pariah's Eye - A third eye that appears on his forehead to perceive the unperceivable. Such as one's soul, mind, and past. The eye also allows him to weave dreams, to hijack individuals, to induce mass psychosis, to empower oneself or another, to paralyze, and the ability to discern multiple dimensions. However, the usage of this eye is at the expense of his sanity.

Negasphere - An area overridden by his will negating all effects, and under his influence the reality within can be altered to his liking. Negasphere can span across an entire planetoid, but should he have the need to push it past his boundaries, Lapacle will have to dedicate even more energy into making that happen.

Assail - Volatile particles that radiates Lunardium energy lethal towards Lunarians, but the damage done is still severe to non-Lunarians. The particles can only be detected by Lunarians.

Fleeting of Void - Ulysses harnesses the power to destroy energy, defying the laws of energy conversion. And being able to destroy energy, he can destroy the particles containing the energy as well, tearing a hole in reality.

Beast's Lament - Golden chains will manifest from thin air, able to bind and penetrate victims. If penetrated, the chains can start moving, grinding the victim to pieces.
